Jim is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the construction industry. His career is defined by his work ethic, belief in our core values and his desire to make a positive impact with our teams, trade partners, design consultants, and clients. His most cherished asset is the relationships he has developed throughout the industry. In his role as Vice President of Strategic Planning & Development, he is well appointed to lead the company’s future planning efforts. Jim's wealth of experience spans a multitude of sectors, including healthcare, multi-family housing, hospitality, mixed-use developments, senior living, education, office, and general commercial.

As President & CEO, Josh brings 17+ years of construction and leadership experience to Quiring General, LLC. Under Josh’s leadership, the company has experienced continued, sustainable growth including the expansion of a second office into the Bay Area of California. This expansion has allowed the company to not only grow financially but grow and deepen the experience of the team aligning with Quirings mission of Building What Matters. In Josh’s role, Quiring has expanded its project expertise and key relationships in all service areas including preconstruction, lean construction, design build, design assist, turnkey development and construction management.

In Josh’s role as President & CEO, he leads the company with executive direction to guide the company’s core values, vision and mission. He oversees all company operations, is key liaison between board members and other company executives. Josh has full decision-making power and guides the company to foster healthy, sustainable growth and financial health. He leads the development of all long- and short-term strategies to promote the longevity of the company.

Matt Dietz, the Director of Operations overseeing Quiring General's Bay Area operations, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence to his role. Having worked extensively on various project teams, Matt has developed deep empathy and appreciation for the effort required to achieve project success. His expertise in scheduling, a cornerstone of construction management, enables him to foresee critical project phases and anticipate trends, a skill he believes is fundamental.

As the Director of Operations, Matt is committed to nurturing existing client relationships and forging new ones, fostering enduring connections with clients and trade partners alike. Matt's daily responsibilities involve ensuring project teams meet client needs, uphold safety and quality standards, and fulfill contract obligations. He also dedicates time to business development and hiring, seeking individuals who embrace Quiring's collaborative approach. With a sharp attention to detail and a strategic approach, he manages operational project teams to ensure efficient project execution within budget while upholding the Quiring Experience.

Melissa Manion is a seasoned Director of Human Resources with more than 30 years of invaluable experience in the field. She has dedicated her career to addressing a myriad of human resources challenges and providing strategic guidance to organizations. Melissa's unwavering commitment lies in fostering inclusive recruitment practices and cultivating a workplace environment that values diversity. Her passion extends to nurturing and retaining a high-performing and diverse workforce. Melissa’s exceptional interpersonal skills, deep understanding of emotional intelligence, and a mastery of employee relations helps lead Quiring General to fostering successful teams. She excels in facilitating open and productive communication within teams, ensuring that the human resources function is not just a support system but a pivotal driver of organizational success. With her expertise, Melissa Manion is an invaluable asset to Quiring General, transforming the HR landscape and empowering teams for long-term prosperity.

With his 19 years of experience in the construction industry and extensive background in executive project management and architecture, Rich has developed relationships with HCAI and other industry leaders. After numerous years with Quiring General, Rich was charged with opening our second office in the Bay Area. He took the company culture and Quiring Experience to the Bay Area to create a start-up/grass roots operation, leading to generating 33% of Quiring Generals corporate revenue with his team in Pleasanton, CA. This expansion has allowed the company to not only grow financially but grow and deepen the experience of the team aligning with Quiring’s mission of Building What Matters.

Rich oversees all Bay Area operations to ensure that Quiring’s performance is consistent with the agreement, our values and our commitment to providing exceptional preconstruction and construction services. He leads and develops new growth directives and ensures the bay area staff has the necessary training and opportunities for growth. Rich partners with our Business Development team to cater to and build relationships with current clients, as well as foster and grow new client relationships in the Bay Area.
